9/11: CHRONOLOGY OF AN EVENT THAT CHANGED THE WORLD.

WHAT DID HAPPEN ON SEPTEMBER 09-2001?

September 9/2001. The sun was fantastic in New York. Probably, most- if not all- New Yorkers and the entire world believed that it was just one day more in their lifes. Nonetheless,  it was a day that changed humanity, changed the vision towards a certaing geographic place in the World, and that, in fact, changed the World.

It was 8 am in the morning, and two American Airlines planes departed from Boston to Los Angeles. Fourty-five minutes and one hour later, both planes respectively, crashed into the two homonguous and imponent "Twin Towers", located in the World Trade Center in New York´s downtown. Everything collapsed. The president (George W. Bush) was notified and, since then, the term "War against terrorism" has become a constant in the U.S.

President George Bush, hours after 9/11 events, said "The attacks were evil, despicable acts of terror". And he declared America "to stand together to win the war against terrorism" (9/11: Timeline of Events).
